We had a fantastic first School Council meeting with our Headteacher, Carl! 👏
Our new members proudly received their certificates and got straight to work brainstorming ideas and discussing changes they would like to see around our school. 💭💡

We have been looking at the work of John-Michael Basquiat as part of our Black History Month celebrations. Oak & Sycamore classes created some beautiful artwork inspired by his bold style.
Sycamore Class have been celebrating Black History Month by learning about the life and work of Jean-Michel Basquiat. 🎨👑
After sharing his story, the pupils explored his bold, expressive style and created their own Basquiat-inspired artwork using colour, symbols, marks and shapes.
A brilliant way to celebrate a positive Black role model while encouraging creativity, individuality and self-expression. ❤️💛💚
DofE is in full swing!
What a fantastic week of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award activity!
Our students have been busy developing new skills, building confidence and working together. This week we’ve been:
Practising map reading and navigation
Tidying and taking care of our school garden
Learning bushcraft skills
Having a go at soft archer
Trying our hand at soft axe throwing
And beginning to think about planning our DofE expeditions!
It’s fantastic to see our students getting stuck in, supporting one another and discovering what they can achieve.
And this year, we’re going full steam ahead with our bronze,Silver and Gold DofE programmes!
We’re incredibly proud of the progress our students are making and can’t wait to see where their DofE journey takes them.
