📚 Welcome back to Firwood! 💙
What a brilliant way to start a new school year!
Today we welcomed our students back to Firwood High School, and it was fantastic to see our school come alive again — smiling faces, familiar routines, new beginnings and lots of excitement for the year ahead.
As I begin my journey as Headteacher at Firwood, I feel incredibly proud to be part of this community.
Our mission is simple:
Learning Without Limits.
We want every young person to feel known, valued, listened to and supported to achieve their potential — whatever their starting point, whatever their needs and however they communicate.
This year, we’ll continue to focus on belonging, ambition, voice and independence, working together with our amazing staff, students, families and wider community.
There is lots to look forward to, and I’m excited about the journey ahead.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make the start to the new school year such a positive one.
