Bolton Smiley faces

Lever Park Academy
We support young people with an EHCP (previously a statement of special educational need for their social, emotional and behavioral difficulties, SEBD). We work primarily with the pupils of Lever Park Special School, their families and carers where we provide a breakfast club, access to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, Bowens relaxation therapy, mentoring, and some specialist equipment. We also design and deliver specific projects to address issues of self esteem, health and wellbeing.

Breaking Barriers
Breaking Barriers aims to support Disabled children and young people (aged 0-25) and adults with Autism (aged 18+) and their families to challenge and remove barriers to inclusion. BBNW have a strong strategic presence in Bolton and act as parent reps on the Disability housing sub group, the Post 16 transition guide task group, BDSA (Bolton Disability Sports Association), ETAG (Equality Target Action Group), Bolton ASC Forum and the Bolton Together Consortium.
