All admissions to Firwood High School are managed in conjunction with the Local Authority Special Educational Needs department. All students who attend Firwood must have a statement of special educational needs. Once a place is requested at Firwood, the student will be put forward to the Bolton Special Schools admission panel for consideration.

The Local Offer provides a single point for information to help families access details about services available to them, and offer guidance in multiple areas, such as: Early years places, Schools, Colleges, Health and Care and Leisure activities.

If you have any questions about the admission process please contact Bolton Council's special educational needs assessment service (SENDAS) on: 01204 338 612.

Alternatively, you can find out more information by following the below link to the SENDAS section on the Bolton Council website

If you are interested in finding out more about the school for your child, please do contact the school office to arrange a visit.
