World Chocolate Week: Rainforest Animals, Dens, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Hot Chocolate

First of all we met some animals that live in the rainforests where chocolate beans grow.

Then we made a den in the rainforest, we used the school Commando Joe box and found lots of things to make our den. We even put some flashing lights in for fun!

We took part in a sensory story based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We splashed in water like Augustus Gloop splashed in the chocolate river. We felt play dough that was squashy like Violet's chewing gum, we waved Golden Tickets and played along to the Oompa Loompa songs.

Finally we made some hot chocolate which smelled amazing but not many of us wanted a taste of it.
